ACCOMODATION FIT FOR A KING: See where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and little Prince George, stayed when they arrived in New Zealand this week…
After Kate, William, George and their entourage arrived in Wellington, New Zealand this week, they escaped to Wharekauhau Lodge in Palliser, about an hour and a half away, to recover from jet lag before starting the full-blown 3-week royal tour of NZ and Australia.

The luxurious, 5-star property is at the southern end of the North Island, and includes a lodge and 13 cottages, set amongst 5500 acres of sheep and cattle farmland.
It includes all the very best of what New Zealand has to offer: food and wine, stunning views, and a large amount of activities, from archery and horse riding, to fishing and mountaineering.
Apparently, the Edwardian house is owned by the American billionaire Bill Foley, chairman of $4 billion mortgage company, Fidelity National Financial, who has spent $200 million investing in distressed wineries. Learn more about him here.
Famous guests have included Meg Ryan, Nicole Kidman and Bill Gates.
