You had to almost feel a little sorry for Gwyneth back in 2002 when she chose an Alexander McQueen see through gown and a bucketful of black eyeliner.

According to urban-fashion-legend, after fashion journalists across the world slammed her style the following morning, she bundled the dress up and threw it in the trash.

The worst thing about Nicole Kidman’s fashion offences are that she has no excuse.

With sky-high legs and porcelain skin, getting it right should be no hard task for the Hollywood A-lister.

Now I could be distracted from her clothes on some occasions due to being entranced by her scary-botoxed eyes, but there are some outfits simply inexcusable.

Most notable was her ‘flapper-gone-bad’ ensemble at the 2004 Golden Globes and the tragic tin-man suit she wore to the premiere of The Golden Compass.

Off the red carpet she dresses like a dork who can’t afford a hairdryer but had enough money for botox.

We’re not saying she never gets it right, if only she could get it right more often!

Britney Spears, the ultimate Pop Tart has left us reeling with many fashion disasters.

She may have started out as a trendsetter with her tartan mini and feather scrunchies, but she eventually merged into what can only be described as a car wreck – one that you just can’t tear your eyes away from!

There were the scraggly hair extensions (before the horrendous wigs), the pink bra flashes under mesh tops (before the flash of her ‘Britney) not to mention the tragic denim ensemble at the 2001 American Music Awards.

Our beloved Mr Blackwell, the arbiter of celebrity style, twice named her as the Worst Dressed Celebrity. Here is what he had to say:

“When it comes to Couture Chaos, this Tacky Terror should take a bow - looks like an over-the-hill “Lolita” ‘ From the “Princess of Pop” to the ultimate “Fashions Flop!”
