The story of Luscious, with thanks
Luscious started several years ago, back in the day of being able to party all night, wear anything and still show up to the office the next morning without sleep, looking remarkably good.

I've always been known for wearing red lipstick and the nickname "Luscious"  was coined by Girl Sam and Boy Sam, friends of my dear friends, Jim Clancy and John Gaskell, stemming from having "luscious lips".

Thanks should also go to the lovely folk I've worked with in corporate environments who would pop around to my desk every day to check out clothing/shoe/hair/accessory choices. It made me feel like Patricia Field was subcontracted to my wardrobe and it did wonders for my ego.

I can probably only fit one leg into some of the divine vintage frocks I used to be able to hunt down and wear, but it hasn't stopped me from creating a life of lusciouness through other areas.

These include my Mornington Peninsula home (set amongst vineyards and olive groves, and only minutes to several of Victoria's best beaches), travelling to incredible places (most recently, Milan, Lake Como, Portofino, Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Beijing and Shanghai) and becoming more of a foodie by trying out recipes on my kind and generous friends.

May I bow down and kiss your feet
Speaking of friends, I'd like to thank the incredible folk who have been supportive of our little venture, including my beautiful partner, Tigger, (aka Mr Luscious), my friends and family, particular the Patron Saint of Lusciousness, Elizabeth Hallam, and my business colleagues, especially the IT boys, and EMBA family from Melbourne Business School, who have helped through myriad conversations and advice.

Special thanks to Anna Byrne and Lauren Vines for their luscious contributions to the Luscious site. I live an erratic and eclectic life and they are always patient and enthusiastic. And welcome to our newest team member, Anna McLeod. Please support these talented young ladies by scanning the site and reading their work (all articles are tagged). And help them earn their keep by supporting Luscious through a PayPal donation or item-in-kind.

Eager Beaver Media

Luscious is part of a wider world, with Eager Beaver Media being our parent business. My background is in banking, journalism/print media, communications, marketing, and event management, all of which lead me down the path to the internet and digital media.

Read the official and rather outdated work bio, and please come back in the future to see the in-the-process-of-being-updated EBM site.
